project manager

As a project manager, you will be responsible for a specific project or projects. These projects will be driven per customer specifications. This position will report to the industrial support engineering manager and work alongside of the industrial support group. The individual will work closely with our industrial support team, market managers, business development managers, distributors, and various internal departments to manage each project. This position will also coordinate with production control, manufacturing and our customer to provide weekly or bi-weekly production schedules and arrange customer required witness and hold points that may be specified throughout the assembly and testing of our products.
essential duties and responsibilites 

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors, for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Create, update and maintain production schedules, to be provided to customers.
  • Assist in specifications and special requirements review provided by customers.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and customer requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with production control, manufacturing and the customer for hold and/or witness points required per the project specifications.
  • Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Gather and maintain comprehensive project documentation packages as required.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Assist with the relationship between the market manager and distributor and/or EPC.
  • Provide pricing and availability for product inquiries including special alloys and/or other special requirements.
  • Review specifications to ensure quoted products meet all customer requirements.
qualifications and requirments 
 
  • Experience with project management.
  • Knowledge of Apollo industrial products.
  • Technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience of manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, (Excel, PowerPoint & Word).
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently across functional roles and departments throughout the organization.
