national sales director, Shurjoint

The nationals sales director, Shurjoint Aalberts-IPS NAA is a role for an individual who will oversee and manage a sales team dedicated to the Shurjoint product line while maintaining the goal of packaging all Aalberts-IPS product lines through wholesale distribution, contractors, end-users, and projects. The individual will actively help guide the future strategic road map of the Shurjoint business for the Americas. In this role, you will have responsibility for a team of dedicated Shurjoint Market Managers in, where you will help them define their markets, build strategic business plans, & execute to the financial budgets set annually for the business to grow.

essential duties and responsibilities: 

  • Build strong relationships with key customers.
  • Identify a market strategy by identifying key distribution partners.
  • Provide factual data for sales and expense forecasting to support corporate monthly and annual operating budgets.
  • Monitor monthly sales and margin reporting goals are met.
  • Work with your direct reports and factory representatives to: Develop and maintain a continuing list of current and potential customer, end user, and other targets for the marketplace.
  • Keep a detailed and continuously updated "Market Report" on all major customers and potential customers.
  • Insure all project quotes are submitted via salesforce for reporting purposes.
  • Follow up on all high-volume quotes to determine if business will be awarded.
  • Will present customers with our array of products in a professional fashion that will win over accounts.
  • Utilizes organizational ability to manage multiple programs with each customer, as well as to work closely with our internal sales support group, to win new business.
  • Provide technical and sales support to key contacts in addition to internal technical and managerial personnel.

qualifications and requirements: 

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent in business, marketing, or mechanical engineering or related field experience required
  • Previous experience leading a sales team
  • Proven ability to maintain market pricing to achieve proper margins
  • Demonstrated skill working in collaboration with sr. leadership
  • National accounts experience
    • executing a sales strategy
    • negotiating
    • entering agreements
  • Ability to grow the Shurjoint product line into multiple vertical markets
  • Aptitude to integrate the SJ strategy to support and advance all Aalberts-IPS product lines
