Aalberts IPSA is seeking a dynamic and driven pricing director, to lead our pricing function. This is a high-impact role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to roll up their sleeves to make meaningful contributions. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, that can create pricing frameworks, analyze data to drive insights, and develop pricing strategies that align with our business goals.

essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Pricing Strategies – Design and execute data-driven pricing models to optimize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.
  • Ensure Pricing Consistency & Governance – Establish and enforce clear pricing policies, guidelines, and approval processes across regions and product lines.
  • Drive Value-Based & Segmented Pricing – Implement pricing structures that reflect customer value, market conditions, and business objectives.
  • Monitor Market Trends & Competitive Pricing – Analyze industry pricing trends, competitor pricing strategies, and raw material cost fluctuations to adjust pricing approaches accordingly.
  • Support Sales & Commercial Teams – Provide pricing insights, training, and tools to enable the sales team to execute pricing strategies effectively.
  • Enhance Pricing Analytics & Insights – Utilize data analytics to assess pricing performance, customer profitability, and pricing elasticity, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Optimize Discounting & Margin Management – Establish clear discount structures, manage rebate programs, and ensure disciplined margin control.
  • Lead Pricing System & CRM Integration – Work with IT and commercial teams to enhance pricing tools, configure pricing in ERP/CRM systems, and improve automation.
  • Collaborate with Finance & Product Management – Align pricing strategies with cost structures, product positioning, and overall financial objectives.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement & Innovation – Identify new pricing opportunities, implement best practices, and foster a culture of pricing excellence within the organization.

qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing, industrial, or B2B sector.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets, identify pricing trends, and develop data-driven pricing strategies. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools is a
  • Understanding of market dynamics, customer segmentation, and competitive positioning to drive profitability and growth.
  • Experience with pricing software, ERP, and CRM tools to optimize pricing structures and processes.
  • Ability to lead pricing initiatives, improve pricing frameworks, and implement best practices across different business units.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with sales, finance, and marketing teams, aligning pricing strategies with business objectives.
  • Experience in Margin & Profitability Optimization – Knowledge of cost structures, discounting strategies, and margin improvement techniques.
  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving – Ability to navigate complex pricing challenges in a dynamic market environment.
