customer service representative - pricing

We are seeking a customer service representative with strong attention to details; a desire to achieve exceptionally high service; and truly values our customers, products, and services for our business.

essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Respond within stated SLA’s and provide accurate information on all inquiries regarding pricing, orders, product availability, expedites and shipping information.
  • Maintain and resolved cases / emails in a timely manner.
  • Utilize JD Edwards, As400 & Apollo Online to review customer specific requests as needed.
  • System Quote Entry to include contractual, promotional, one-time and technical support quotes.
  • Special pricing projects, quote extensions and maintenance of customer price lists.
  • Setup new customer accounts to include adding pricing, shipping preferences and freight rules.
  • Update customer account information; account maintenance, IPG changes.
  • Maintain Customer Address Book Master, defining subgroups.
  • Work closely with Sales, Accounting, Order Entry and Customer Service.  
  • Perform all duties as assigned and requested.
  • Hybrid work schedule with some days in the office and some remotely.

  • Must have the ability to work quickly and accurately within a multitasking environment.
  • Must possess interpersonal skills, organizational skills, be a self-starter, detailed oriented, and have the ability to multitask and communicate (verbal and written).
  • Strong phone and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management within the company.

  • Must be able to deliver information and communicate to multiple channels within the organization to include the team members filling these order requests.
  • Knowledge of pipe, valve, fitting product applications, and sales experience preferred.
