customer service representative

We are seeking a customer service representative with strong attention to details; a desire to achieve exceptionally high service; and truly values our customers, products, and services for our business.

essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain solid, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to customers within assigned regions as well as outside of assigned region as needed.
  • Respond within stated SLA’s and provide accurate information on all inquiries regarding pricing, orders, product availability, expedites and shipping information.
  • Maintain and resolved cases / emails in a timely manner.
  • Utilize Apollo Online & JD Edwards to review customer specific information as needed.
  • Make sound decisions to maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefits.
  • Maintain a current library of reference material.
  • Perform all duties as assigned and requested.
  • Hybrid work schedule with some days in the office and some remotely.
  • Display high standards of professional conduct at all times.
  • Be a Strong Team Player in all aspects and displaying a Can Do, Let’s Roll up Our Sleeves attitude at all times.

 

qualifications and requirements:

  • Must have the ability to work quickly and accurately within a multitasking environment.
  • Must possess interpersonal skills, organizational skills, be a self-starter, detailed oriented, and have the ability to multitask and communicate (verbal and written).
  • Strong phone and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management within the company.

  • Knowledge of pipe, valve, fitting product applications, and sales experience preferred.
